Teen mentoring is designed for high school students to stretch their visual art practice, develop skills and explore techniques in a professional studio.
A designed mentorship program specifically for students in Year 7+ with a strong interest in visual artists who want to learn more art, refine and extend their skills and who may have faced barriers to further develop their art practice in drawing and oil painting.
Students are encouraged to develop creative thinking and their own visual style.
What to expect
Through structured exercises, students will:
- learn foundation skills in drawing and painting.
- explore more advanced visual art concepts.
- produce a portfolio of completed artworks.
About Mentoring Session
Mentoring sizes are 1:1 to 1:3, ensuring all students receive the individual tuition they need.

Bring out the Picasso in your child. PAA are so happy to announce our Kids class that will help nourish your child’s innate creative side. Our qualified art tutor, Natalie will be conducting specific classes in drawing fundamentals, painting and design (tonal, colour theory etc). Stimulate and get your child’s imagination going, in a fun and supportive environment, whilst being in a professional artists studio.

Friday Afternoon Class (2024)
Specifically designed to take your teens talent to the next level to cultivate, Stimulate and get your child’s imagination going. We will be using time honoured Renaissance methods in drawing and painting traditions to enhance your child innate abilities. In a professional setting, Natalie will harness and encourage your teen to strive further.
