Clay and Chardonnay

Try your hand at making, designing and hand building your own function and fun ceramic piece.  Start the workshop enjoying a glass of wine, unwind and get your hands dirty making your own ceramic piece that you will get years of use from and can use every day.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and for those looking to create vessels without the use of a pottery wheel, focusing on the free-form organic qualities that hand building can offer. 

Natalie will supply all materials bisque fire and white glaze your work.  Please allow approximately three weeks to be ready for collection.

Workshops are held in the heart of Leederville.

Clay and Glazing Workshop (2 weeks)

Try your hand at making, designing and hand building your own function and fun ceramic piece. It’s no secret, we love anything handmade…you will get years of use and can use every day.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and for those looking to create vessels without the use of the pottery wheel, focusing on the free-form organic qualities that hand building can offer.

This workshop is run over two weeks in the heart of Leederville.

Week 1: Create your vessels under the guidance of Natalie Zuchetti.

Week 2: Learn about glazing clay and Japanese transfers on your bisque fired vessels.

Natalie will supply all materials including bisque and glaze firing.  Please allow approximately three weeks to be ready for collection. Bring an apron!

Clay Sculpture

This 8 week workshop is suitable for beginners or those with limited experience.  In this term workshop you will learn fundamental sculpting techniques using raku or BRT clay.  Classes are held in the heart of Leederville and kept small to ensure personal attention is given to you.

All materials, tools and firing included.

Sculpting in Clay at the Tresillian Arts Centre, Nedlands

Learn hand-building sculpting techniques to make your own sculpture masterpiece from clay with assorted glazes, stains and other decorative tips.

Develop your creativity and produce an amazing piece of clay art worthy of proud display.  As an aspiring artist, with or without experience, you will learn base hand building sculpting techniques to  make your sculpture from your own creative ingenuity or references, at your own pace and with guidance from Natalie.

You will need to bring a bag of clay (your choice: Gold Raku, Red Raku or Buff Raku, White Raku, BRT  - all available at Potters Market in O’Connor).
